Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof

Formulated without wax in order to preserve the look (color & texture) of leather and fabric footwear, instead it contains additives that improve the bond between the waterproofing polymers and the synthetic (cordura, nylon or polyester) fabric fibers. It provides maximum waterproofing with minimum change to the appearance and texture of fabric and leather combination footwear. The application is preferentially drawn to areas that need it most since those are the areas that soak up the most water. May slightly darken light colored leathers, test on hidden are first. Spray applicator. More Details: Even if your boots have a waterproof GoreTex or eVent liner inside, it’s certainly worth proofing them anyway. It’ll help protect the outer from everyday damage and if that isn’t reason enough, there is still the weather to think about. When it does rain, water won’t soak into the outer if your boots are freshly reproofed. Soak-through dampness might not get as far as your fully waterproofed feet but it will make your boots feel much heavier. Nobody needs that!
