Ideal applications include removing nesting rings in seconds, freshening felt to a velvet texture and shaping the hat to the preference of the owner. The J-1 hat steamer heats up in less than 2 minutes and will provide steam for 2 hours per filling.The standard Model J-1 Jiffy hat steamer is recommended for home or light commercial use with 1300 watts of steaming power. The Model J-1 is equipped with a plastic 1 gallon water bottle, no-drip check valve system, and brass hat nozzle for steaming and shaping hats. The J-1 Hat steamer heats up in 1 minute and is equipped with an on/off switch.
