These snow and ice melting stair-tred mats work ice melt or rock salt, but more efficiently, quickly, and neatly. This 9 x 27.5 stair size mat melts snow or ice anywhere you place it at temperatures -15 or above. Our patented nylon tubes only release enough of the proprietary melting agent necessary to eliminate snow or ice, keeping your outdoor area free of ugly salt rocks. Traditional salt or melting agents can get stuck in your pets paws causing irritation and possibly infection, saltnets durable nylon tubes also prevent the melting agent from getting stuck in your pets paws.
